I dropped my LG Chocolate phone into the jacuzzi. Is there ANYTHING I can do to make it work?

I took the battery out of the phone to dry it. I used a hair dryer on the low setting for a couple of minutes. The battery is fine because I put it into a different Chocolate phone and it worked normally. Please, please, please give me any advice because I'm completely screwed if this phone's gone.

Well other then taking it completely apart to drying off everything internally there isn't much you can do. Next time pay for phone insurance.

well you can take it back to Verizon and they will fix it but its proably going to be a bit expencive unless ou have insurance.Or you can also take it to a Swapmeet or a place where they have littl eplaces that fix them because a big store ill be exensive but on the other hand you can be sure it will work again

sometimes if you are lucky, you can set it out for about 10 days to air dry in a nice warm breezy spot to allow all the water (and there is a lot in there) to evaporate and the phone will live. I have had others who will actually try to speed the process by putting the oven to 150 deg and leaving it in there overnight. you can of course-- after it is dry (and only then) -- place the battery back in the phone and see if she's going to power up and continue working. If you immidiately (and most people don't) removed the power from the phone when it goes in then you can often avoid barbecuing the phone by keeping the electricity from going where it shouldn't. if you are not lucky... you are in the market for a new phone. once she's been cooked there's no saving it.

I recommend that you strongly consider the insurance for next time... it's like $5-6 piece of mind vs a couple hundred dollars down the bucket when worse case scenario comes to pass.
