i've heard several suggestions to use a blow dryer to remove a decal or sticker from a car but will that work for both exterior windows AND for stickers placed on the car paint itself? and i live in an apartment complex, so i'm not sure how i can reach a hair dryer to my car...any other suggestions?

Yes, it works, And the only way to reach a hair dryer to the car, would be lots of extension cords, or a voltage inverter. I suggest the voltage inverter. They're about 30 bucks, and will work for lots of things you may want to use in the car that are normally only used in the house.

Take your car to a dealer body shop and ask them if they could remove the stickers for you. Most of the time they will help you out.

got a cordless drill? If so, stop at any automotive paint store and buy a small eraser wheel. Cost anywhere from $5.00 to $20 bucks. You put it in your drill and and use it standing up on its edge, start the drill and bye bye sticker.
Thats what us pros use to get rid of small decalls and stripes that a heat gun has problems removing.
