My Orbit car starter fell in water. Light on remote is working when buttons pressed but car not resp

I've taken a hair dryer to it to remove any moisture and now it's been a few months since it got wet and the car is still not responding.

You probably have to reset the hole system. The digital code that the remote sends has been compromised. A complete system relearn might help.

You'll need a new one. The water shorted the battery voltage to some delicate circuits and sent them to the IC afterlife.
