Dent Removal??!!??

I have a small hail like dent caused by a softball. and i was looking up dry ice dent removal i also came across a hair dryer and a air duster... would this damage my car.. it says it dont but this car is brand new...

I don't believe that this will damage your car as the finishes they use are very durable against high heat (desert summer temperatures) and subzero cold (severe winters). Just be careful not to use too much heat from a high temperature hair dryer (most are not going to be too hot for your purpose). It may or may not work for you, but I don't see any harm in trying.



If it does not work, you may have a local body repair shop that can manipulate the metal from behind with special tools that can remove dents without all of the normal body repairs and painting of the old days. Just check your yellow pages and call around.

try a dent wizard. Local dealerships have a person who removes small dents paintless.Price is reasonable and you can trust the work they do. Dry ice or hair dryer could damge the paint.

Check with your insurance company. Some companies allow you a free dent removal in a year and also a windshield chip repair.
