Air Styler?

Hi

I have curly hair and would rather use a hair dryer over a straightener. My question is has anyone used an air styler (see link below)? Are they any good for curly hair or are they mostly for people with wavy hair?

Air Styler?

I have really curly hair and I have 2 of those. One is a cheap Revlon one from Target and the other is an expensive Wigo. The Wigo sucks and the Revlon one works great. The only thing is you need earplugs with the revlon one. It's the loudest thing ever. It's easier to use than a blow dryer and brush, but I think it started to fry my hair so I stopped using it. It could have been my flat iron frying my hair too.
