I know regular size shampoos and conditioners are no longer allowed in carry-on baggage but what about if I put them in a zip-plug bag and put them in my checked-in baggage? Would that be permitted then? Also, I need my hair dryer and other hair products, have any of you girls had any problems traveling with these artifacts?

If you put all that stuff in your checked luggage, then it wont be a problem at all. You can pretty much bring whatever you want in your checked luggage.

Those items are fine in your checked baggage. These days, I only carry on reading materials, and a pen. I forgo those luxury items such as toothpaste and lip gloss! Happy travels!
