Blow dryer or straightener?

i have naturally wavy hair, but i like it straight. which one should i use? i have both.

Wash your hair, then blow it out. After you blow it out, you take about 2 inch sections of your hair and flat iron them. Thats what i do. And be sure to use a heat proctector. Like Thermasilk. I use their straight and smooth smoothing cream. It works. I do this to my hair like every other day. So yea. My hair is naturally wavy also.

just let your hair air dry if you can, then use the straightener. this is what i do, and i have the smae hair type.

most likely a straightener, but if i you wanna straighten your hair when you get out of the shower, dry the hair first. then leave it for maybe a couple minutes or up to an hour just so your hair can "breathe" for a second. then use the straighteners. it'll lessen the chance of burning the ends of you hair. good luck

BOTH!!! Blow dry your hair, then straighten it, also, put some defrizzing serum into it.

u can use a hair drier to help the hair get completely dry and then rub in sum serum on to the hair or anti frizz then u can use the strightener on ur hair.. hope it was help! :)

I agree with Sonja. But my hair is super frizzy and wavy. When I really want it to look nice I blow dry it straight and then flat iron it.

STRAIGHTENER.. BOTH JUST REMEMBER BOTH DAMAGE YOUR HAIR. AND DON'T TURN THE HEAT UP SO HIGH, OR YOU WILL BURN YOUR HAIR %26amp; CAUSE IT TO BREAK AND GIVE YOUR HAIR SPLIT ENDS.. AND NO ONE WANTS THAT.. CONDITION ALL THE TIME TO KEEP IT HEALTHY AND PROTECT IT FROM THE HEAT. HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT GIRL :)

when you wash your hair let it air dyr or if you blow dry let it air dry first ans then go over it with the dryer on low but i say use the straighter

I would blow dry it with the coolest setting and then use the straightener. i would NOT use the straightener while it's still wet..thats torture to the hair!!

My friend has very curly long hair and she uses both but before she does she uses a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, then she does mousse, then after she blow drys it she uses a heat protecting spray before she uses the flat iron. Too much heat can really damage your hair, so don't do this everyday.

My hair is naturally wavy too. I also like it straight. When I blow dry it it just get all poofy. I find that straighting works the best and once you get used to it is really easy!

Although I perfer the flat iron, I would recommend for you to use a blow dryer only because a flat iron is far more damaging to your hair.

i have the same type of hair and if u blow dry it first it will be straighter than if u let it air dry. then straighten it. trust me.
