1) your 60-watt light bulb is plugged into a 110-volt household outlet and left on for 3 hours. the utility company charges you $0.11 per kilo watt hr. derermine the cost of using this bulb for the 3 hours



2) calculate the resistance and the current of a 7.5-watt night light bulb plugged into a US household outlet (120v)



3)calculate the resistance and the current of a 1500-watt electric hair dryer plugged into a US household outlet (120v)



4)the sticker on a compact disc player says that it draws 288 mA of a current when powered by a 9 Volt battery. what is the power (in watts) of the cd player?
