I'm 17 so I think I'd be able to help you...music is a must. If they like it get games, or the same with books. If they like to read give them books. I don't know if you'd be able to afford it but maybe a laptop or something? Or like a tv/dvd player/stereo for their room? Lots of gift cards for their favorite stores. Kids like money too. If you can't think of much then they can go out and buy exactly what they want. Hope I helped and merry xmas! :)

I have a 17 year old daughter. Her ONLY requests were a digital camera in pink and a Mall Gift Card so she could do shopping for herself.

Purses, boots and jewelry are popular items often requested.

Coach purses and boots and Tiffany's necklaces and bracelets are really popular but VERY expensive. So choose wisely.

You can look online at Nordstrom.com and get GREAT gift ideas for teens. Barnes Noble Gift Cards, Borders, Movie theater tickets and resturaunt tickets are great gifts also!

17yr old xmas gifts...?

I quit buying tangle items when they turn 12. The reason is that they will not like what I get, they already have it, or they will be embarrassed to have it out where anyone can see it. I give cash or gift cards to their favorite stores. I know it sounds impersonable but I would rather see my money go to something they will enjoy or need.
