My 19 month old has a 2 inch gash on her forehead that the hospital glued together instead of using stitches. I would like to change the bandaid but didn't receive any tips from the hospital as to how to do this. Obviously I don't want the gash to tear open and I cannot get the area wet. My daughter won't tolerate the hair-dryer technique (can't say I blame her!) Any ideas?

I would give the doctor or hospital a call and ask them what you should do. Hope she is better soon.

How about wetting the tip of a Q-tip and gently rub it along the edges of the bandaid. It should help loosen the stick, making it easier to remove.
