What does it mean if my cellphone is in 'offline mode'?

I dropped my cellphone in water today. So i let it Air dry out and i dried it with my hair dryer. Everything works. its just that its in offline mode. Thats what it says on the main screen. Does anyone know what this means? Or how to maybe turn it off?

if so please tell me, i would really appreciate it.

offline mode is probably your phone's way of saying it's in airplane mode. When your phone's in this mode you can't make or recieve calls or access the web. Take it back to your service provider's store and tell them what happened. Either you can get a new phone OR they will try to fix it.

You can try to fix this yourself by going into your phone's menu and usually under settings there with be a sub-menu called setup or others. try to find "offline" or "airplane mode and switch it off
