Dreams about your wedding day?

Its just so weird I'v been having weird dreams about the wedding! Last one I had was crazy there was only an hour left to get ready and I was blow drying my hair well my hair never dryed but the hair dryer was working and all and poof I woke up. Am I the only one that dreams this kind of stuff? or are there any of you out there that have been having these weird dreams about your wedding day and if so share some stories please?

Dreams about your wedding day?

oh god. I have terrible dreams. it's awful.

like the hairstylist is taking way too long and the music has started...

i forgot to order the flowers...

we forgot to write our wedding vows...

some of the bridesmaids/groomsmen didn't show up because of snow (winter wedding in denver)...

Dreams about your wedding day?

my dream is that Jessica Alba is my bride

Dreams about your wedding day?

I dreamed that it was pouring with rain and I was standing waiting for a car in my wedding dress (don't ask me why I was stood outside instead of at home!) and a car came along splashing a muddy puddle all over me. It's the stuff of bad comedy shows!!

Dreams about your wedding day?

Dreaming about your wedding is usually a bad omen.

People are jerks! I don't know why they answer if they don't care about the question. Anyway ... no you are not the only one to have odd dreams about your wedding. I had them the whole time I was preparing. Even after the wedding! My last dream was (this is going to sound bad) was that I died and I was at my own funeral. I woke up that morning and thought oh that can't be good! lol Then I did some research and dreaming that you die is actually good. It means that you are starting a new chapter in your life and the old one is closed. It made me feel really good knowing that the next chapter in my life was officially started. Good luck and dream on!!

I'm currently planning our ceremony and I'm constantly having dreams about it-mostly things i might forget or stressing about colors/decorations and etc.

Dreams about your wedding day?

my dream husband has to be gerard way he's so HOTT but he's married to lyn-z and im happy for him

Dreams about your wedding day?

It wasn't my wedding day, but I was bridesmaid for a very good friend on mine. She was having an evening wedding and I kept dreaming that the two of us had gone out shopping during the day and had got back with 20 minutes left until the wedding to get ready! The dream then went on with the two of us frantically trying to shower and get dressed and do our hair etc, and for some reason (you know how dreams focus on odd things) I was absolutely distraught that I wouldn't have time to put mascara on...

Very strange. In realty, we started getting ready at 1000 for a wedding at 1700!

Dreams about your wedding day?

Are you actually getting married or just dreaming about it?

I used to dream of my wedding when I was a little girl.

Once I got older, I realized the wedding was just the first day of a new life and I didn't want to start my new life spending a fortune, because it's about picking the right person, not the right dress, it's about the marriage, not the wedding.

Dreams about your wedding day?

Hi Marie, You are suffering from normal bridal jidders. Are you having a big extravagant wedding or a small wedding with just a few friends and family ? A large wedding can add a lot of stress for the bride. So many things to do and plan for the big day. I think the last thing you need to do is asking other brides about their dreams or nightmares. I don't want you to add to your own because it will only make you more nervous. You love your fiance and that is all that should matter. Talk to him about your dreams and I am sure he can reassure you that everything will be fine. I deal with many nervous brides in my photography profession and this is perfectly normal to be worried something will go wrong. Here are a few tips that will help minimize some of the little details before your big day. 1. Give some of the load of activities to your most dependable attendants, such as make sure all attendants get fitted at bridal shop, making favors, working on invitations. Don't try to do it all yourself. You should be queen for the day! 2. Let your photographer know about any handicapped relatives or guests as well as any tension if any with relatives such as divorce etc. 3. Make a timeline for attendants and groomsmen %26amp; family, so they know what time they need to be ready for photographs. Make sure you have your florist label each corsage and boutonniere to make sure the flowers you delected go to the right person. 4. A few days before the wedding, make sure your fiance and groomsmen try on their tuxedos. before they leave the Tuxedo shop. If something is not right, then it can be corrected. Make sure they all have their ties, studs %26amp; Black socks. 5. I can not stress enough to go light on the alcohol consumption at rehearsal dinner. I can tell the ones who overdid the drinking. They are the ones sweating and ready to faint.

6. Bachelor and Bachelorette parties should be arranged at least 1 week before the wedding to give you all time to recuperate. If you still feel stressed, maybe your physican can perscribe a very mild sedative to calm you down. Please take time to just take deep breaths and say a few prayers too. God will watch over you ! Good Luck and have a wonderful time.

Most that dream of the perfect wedding live in a matrimonial nightmare afterward. Weddings are vastly overrated and the real focus needs to be on the aftermath. Marry the right person for the right reasons and have a happy life. A simple ceremony and nice reception afterward is all that is really necessary. Huge elaborate weddings are stressful, costly, and can affect the focus off the true relationship that is being bonded. Even an awful ceremony still creates a legal marriage. Most weddings that grow beyond simple ceremonies can cause relationship stresses that outlive the wedding day. It is normal for women to dream about the perfect wedding and if yours meets those dreams then congrats. If it doesn't, and most never do, you still are married and your life will be fine as long as you don't allow the wedding day issues to haunt you.
