Growing an afro?

Alright ,I have a small afro right now.I use the sta sol fro spray and pick it out every morning, day and night.I sleep while wearing a durag at night so it won't be all mess up the next day.I also shampoo and condition my hair 1-2 times a week.Am I doing the right things? If not what should I do ?Can I use a hair dryer?I also heard shea butter is good for my hair.Is that true?I knowI am asking too many questions, lol.I just want to get some cornrows or braids just in time of my birthday.Only answer if you are sure.Thank you and Late Happy New Year.

OK, You are doing the right things, wash your hair and pik it everyday. If you use a hair dryer it may just cause some bad frizz depending on the length. Shea butter is ok for the hair.

Growing an afro?

You can get cownrolls regardless of how long your hair is. Go to the african braid shop and they will add hair to make it look full.
